Front Porch

Front of the house at dusk The house is set back from the road and looks out on to University Avenue. It's a really great location.
The front porch is a perfect place to relax on a spring day in between all those graduation parties, after the football game in the fall or linger over coffee in the morning.
I ask that you not use the house for parties or large gatherings. Things inevitably get broken.

Chicken House

Yes, the house comes with pet hens. They live happily in the gardens of the back yard. It's unlikely that you'll hear them and they require no attention, but they do love visitors if you want to stop by and say hello. For more information than you could ever want, please see http://www.savesewaneechickens.blogspot.com/

Kitchen

The kitchen features a stainless steel flat top stove with convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice and filtered water on the door, disposal, microwave, various coffee making devices, commercial blender, mixer, and food processor. This is my residence and I'm a cook so there are good knives, pots and pans

There is a large center peninsula with 8 stools as well as a sofa and two upholstered chairs (my inheritance) - watch out, they roll...

The windows and door along the back wall look out onto the terrace and gardens.

Bedroom 1

This is my bedroom. It is small and cozy. The old brass bed has a new queen size mattress with memory foam topper, bed warmer, down pillows and a down comforter.

Living Room

The spacious living room has three sets of French doors leading to the front porch. The down filled sofa opens into a queen size bed.

It's not a big house. The bedrooms are small, but the living spaces are large and it's a very comfortable home. This is where I live - so you're renting a home rather than a "rental house."
